I've been tagged

I've been Tagged!!!
A: The rules of the game are posted at the beginning. B: Each player answers the questions about themselves. C: At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 years ago: I was 18, awesome, and hot. I was attending Snow College, listening to Paula Cole (when I was angry) and Britney Spears (I lived with 10 girls!) I had just started my dominating dating career- I really didn’t “date” until after high-school.

5 things on my to-do list today: 1. Paint baby girls room 2. Hang out with Blake and “the boy.” 3. Make dinner 4. Laundry 5. Clean up house.

Snacks I enjoy: Chips, fruit, tea, hot cocoa, toast, Cadbury cream eggs
What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: Let my momma retire. Buy a home in Old Mission. Buy Blake a VW bus, a souped-up (is that right?) jeep, refurbish his camero, a harley-davidson motorcycle, and a garage to house all his new vehicles. Have a huge family vacation somewhere warm and hire some nannies. Probably donate a little something-something to charity, aka the church.

3 of my bad habits: 1. Biting my nails 2. Eating candy 3. Loving too much

5 places I have lived: Crosby, MN; Orem, UT; Logan, UT; Ogden, UT; Ephraim, UT
5 jobs that I have had: BYU Lawns crew, Fred Meyer, IHC Emergency Room, IHC Endoscopy lab, America First Accountant

5 Things people don't know about me: 1. I have grave anxiety about many, many things and sometimes about nothing at all- it’s just there. 2. I love Clay Aiken and I am not ashamed of this fact. I have been to two of his concerts and I seriously considered throwing my bra up on stage. Some may know this, some may not. 3. I am terrified of physically having another baby. Yes, yes Owen was a wonderful birth- but doesn’t that, statistically speaking, increase the chances of having more problems? (there is that pesky anxiety.) 4. I still dance around my house, just like I did in college, oh and I sing really loud. Blake just turns up the music, but I don’t care I will just sing louder. 5. I am a book junkie. Books are like crack to me, I gobble them up and the majority of them do absolutely nothing to enrich my life.
I am tagging...No one, sorry I don’t know 5 people. :)

Who wants to feel good?

If anyone out there wants to feel good about their current car situation keep on reading.... Right after Christmas Blake went to get our awesome Grand Prix registered, but the weird thing is- you can't register a car if it won't pass safety and emissions. Apparently there was something wrong with the emissions part of the car- some jibber-jabber about the fuel injectors or some such nonsense. So, we took the car to the garage (ps, the head gasket blew on that particular car this summer- sucking up our Michigan fund) and before we got it back this happened....
Last Monday sweet, sweet Blake was driving home from work on 1-15 and BAM!!! the windshield exploded on our Honda Accord. An ice block, presumably from a semi, decimated the windshield and bounced along the top of the car. Blake survived with only superficial cuts to his hands, face, and legs. Oh did I mention that Blake's ankle is still infected (he's on another round of antibiotics) and they have suggested doing another less invasive surgery on it...awesome.... So the Honda was towed to a shop down in the SLC area- where it remains at this time.
So after a few weeks and a few hundred dollars the Grand Prix passed emissions- only a few days overlapped with both cars out of commission.
Fast Forward....
This weekend one of Blake's best friend's father passed away and on Tuesday Blake drove (the Grand Piece of crap) up to Star Valley for the services. Guess what happened? Besides Blake forgetting his wallet and medication? The radiator blew on the Grand Prix. It just gets better and better... So that is where we are at currently.
It actually is pretty funny. What are you going to do?
Now some pictures of the Boy.... these also are pretty funny. We were trying to practice our 'emotion faces'

Oldies, but Goodies...

As I sit here listening to O-town yelling and not taking a nap, I thought that I would look through some of the pictures on our computer (we have about 2 billion). I found a few that made me smile...Enjoy.

Why did the twins get the best hair in the family?

What more can I say?

Poor Nina

What is going on with Timmy's hat?

This picture is just funny.

Blake- we were young once and you used to wear your wedding ring!!!

I didn't want to leave Martha out of the fun....

Nate and Andy needed a shout-out

Remember When?

I was reading Martha's post about how she has nutty opinions and how she is a raving lunatic (j/k). But for some reason it made me reminisce about growing up and the 'remember whens?' For example, I was thinking how on Sunday's when Mom was scrambling to get all 8 of us dressed and out the door that if we weren't up to par she would say "It looks like you came out of the Salvation Army, go and iron your shirt!" Does anyone else remember that?

Remember when Nathan cut up our swimsuits to make costumes - oh, and Dad's winter coat?
Remember when the twins cut off Hardee's (our black devil cat) ears?
Remember when Bobby got out naked and went up to the quick stop?
Remember when Spencer's teeth got knocked out in Michigan?
Remember when Andy did 360's in the Beauville?
Remember when we had the intervention for Cathy?
Remember when Martha got her tattoo burned off?
Remember when Dad's eyes would pop out of his head when one of us had done something wrong?

Good times, good times
So many good remember whens.... Please comment and leave your own remember whens- they make me smile and laugh.
There are a lot more that occurred to me, but I didn't want to bring up any embarrassing moments for some family members.....Dad, Cathy, Nate, Martha, Andy, Me.....

Rockin' Christmas Hunsaker style...

I was going to post all these beautiful pictures from Christmas.... I was going to talk about how peaceful and reflective the holidays are for us- but, that would just be a crazy lie. I really do love Christmas and we really did have a great holiday but we have had some awesome action. This first stellar picture is of Blake's 7 fetching week old surgery incision. I know, I know- 7 weeks is a long time for something not to be healed, well Blake's just lucky that way. It's infected and swollen and I swear we are just going to have to amputate.
The next one is of my beautiful parents and O-town. The house is in disarray, my dad may or may not be conscious, and if you will notice the $10 dollar piano on that back of the couch... well my mommasita purchased that for Ownie and it never produced a note. Well what are you going to do when your two choices are OFF and NO???
Now this last rocking photo is of sweet, sweet docile Owen who slipped into my parents bathroom and shaved his lips with my Momma's razor. When I found him his face and both of his arms where covered in blood and he was smiling and having the time of his life.
These are true Christmas memories. These are the stories that are passed from year to year. Enjoy our Rockin' Hunsaker Christmas.
