Owen has crazy hair. I have never been able to control it. Owen takes his bath at night and his hair is usually just slightly damp when he goes to bed- the result is CRAZY hair. Every morning it is sticking up in all directions. This is one of the beautiful things about having a boy- I really don't care. It is a bit endearing actually. I like his crazy hair and I let it just stay that way for the most part. If we are going to church I will tame the beast, but otherwise just au natural for the boy.

What's new... not much...
Every Momma out there is secretly grabbing for a wipe to catch that cheese before it drips off O's chin. Owen loves cheese is any form- especially Nacho cheese, which his daddy got him as a treat...Thanks Blake.
Oh by the way, he got kicked out of nursery on Sunday for being too 'aggressive' with the other kids. He is just a handful and WAY too much of a boy. I purchased parenting/discipline books this week. If anyone has found any that they really like- please let me know. I don't think Owen is a crazy completely out-of-control child, but he definitely likes to lean that way on occasion.Preparations for Baby
In preparation for the new child, we had to move O to a big boy bed. I think that we need to make his room more boyish... Owen loves his 'truck' bed, nighttime is just fine, but naps are not! So as you will see I have continued to lock him into the crib (thanks to a mesh tent) for his naps. Am I an awful mom? It feels kind of like I am kenneling him, but part of me really doesn't care. He needs his naps and I need his naps. We are both much happier this way.
Baby Girl's Room
Here is the baby's room (8 weeks to go, maybe less if she continues to be an amazon girl). I know you all love my stellar paint job. Blake feels it may be a little too busy, but maybe it will make her so dizzy she will just fall asleep at night on her own. As you can see Owen is still being locked into the crib at nap times. We don't have everything quite ready- but almost. Shout out to Martha for all the baby clothes- I am eternally grateful for those.
Before I know it the baby will be here...it is a wild and crazy thought. Also Cathy is due in one week, Martha in August and now Sarah and Andy in October! 4 babies in one year! How fun. Christmas at the Wright house will never be the same.
