Smiley McSmilington

Molly has started to smile. It is sooo stinkin' cute. It is very contagious. Enjoy.
(Yes, she has dimples and no, I don't know where she got them from)

The Destroyer

My precious little Owen is a force to be reckoned with on this earth. I don't know how one child can be so stinkin' cute and so completely destructive at the same time. Let me present some examples for you...

This is what my sprouting Hosta plants should look like- and two of the three do.

Here is what happens when Owen unleashes his fury upon them. Here is what happens when Owen escapes between the chain link fence and the vinyl fence.

Here is what happens when Owen climbs the cupboards to get into the cabinets... I caught him sucking on this Elmer's glue- classy.

Here is Owen climbing up into his playhouse to throw things at Mommy. You can tell from his face that he only has the purest intentions.

And finally, here is Owen doing penance (time-out) for his misdeeds. You can see that he takes his punishment very seriously.

The stud and the slug

The stud would be Owen and the slug would be Molly. People may say, "hey, calling your new baby a slug is rude!" But compared to Owen, as a baby, she is a slug and I LOVE IT. She is so stinking cute and just good. I am sure that she is just a normal baby- but to have a child that will just be chill is weeiirrdd. She will be fussy and then I will pick her up and rock her and she will stop crying- it BLOWS my mind. Enjoy my little sluggy's pictures.

Now the STUD is definitely O-town. Studs always wear sunglasses and no pants. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Breastfeeding 101

I bet you all were hoping for a hot picture of me breastfeeding.... Ain't gonna happen, but I ( a lot like Carlee H.) read way too much about way too much online. I have been reading about breastfeeding - how many extra calories I need, signs of the baby getting enough (you always question yourself), things I should or shouldn't be eating- you get the picture. Any how, I stumbled across this little quiz:
Feel free to test yourself. Anyway, I tested myself and here was their comment to me:

You did not do very well and you may want to read more about breastfeeding. Keep in mind that doesn't necessarily mean that your child is not breastfeeding effectively though.

I thought that I knew a lot about breastfeeding. One child survived- Oh well- it made me laugh.
Also, here are some new pictures of baby girl.

Welcome to the World Molly!!

We welcomed little Molly Pearl into our lives on April 8th (yes her actual due date!) She came very, very fast and it was a pretty uneventful labor and delivery. She was 21 inches and 8 lbs 6 oz- the exact same size as Owen- crazy!!!
We are slowly adjusting to life. It is a good thing that you forget how crazy you feel and how sleep deprived you become- or else you would never have any more kids!!!
We feel lucky and blessed to have her and Owen is learning that she is here to stay. Here are some pictures- I will post more as I become more settled in.
Love you all and appreciate all the support and help.

Happy Birthday B-Ray!!!!

Yes this is Blake break dancing. His mom drove him all the way to SLC for break dancing lessons when he was a kid. HOT!!!

This is what we call the spiked-mullet- even hotter than the break dancing picture!

The Prom GQ pose.

Missionary Photo- an LDS must!

Our first Halloween together. His alter-ego for the night was Geneva Steel. Back when we were just dating.

No photo album would be complete without Blake grabbing a little something-something.

Blake's first trip to Michigan.

Current life...what bliss!

Thanks for all the good times Blake. Owen and I love you and are happy to be in your life.

Happy Birthday!!

Easter Fun

Here are some fun little pictures from Easter at Grandma Molly's house...

Owen playing the 'drums' on Grandma's counter

Owen breaking Grandma's wooden spoon- sorry mom!

Now for the highlight of Easter- the wrestling match. Bobby is the antagonist of the family- always challenging people to a host of things and competitions but rarely backing those challenges up with action. This Easter was one of those rare occasions. Bobby kept egging (no pun intended) Andy on to a wrestling match and he actually followed through. I laughed sooo hard I thought the baby might pop out right then and there. As for the result of the match- it was actually a draw. I had my money on Andy, but that wiggly little Bobby escaped from getting pinned- it was hilarious!! Enjoy the photo memories.
